It doesn’t seem that long ago when we were first hearing whispers of an extraordinary Indian restaurant appearing in the suburbs of Cardiff. That turned out to be Mint and Mustard and the first showcase for the wonderful Keralan cooking of Anand George. These days he plies his trade at the equally magnificent Purple Poppadom and from the blindingly good street food trailer Tuk Tuk. Earlier in the year we welcomed the latter offering but he promised to come back and do a more conventional dinner before the year was out.

As good as his word, we are delighted to be giving over Wright’s to Anand and his team for a 7 course dinner at which he will also be launching his new book the '5000 Mile Journey.'
