A really special evening with an Italian accented menu combining the talents of three great cooks.
Rachel Roddy is one of the great contemporary writers about Italian cooking. Based in Rome, her books “Five Quarters Recipes and Notes from a Kitchen in Rome” and "Two Kitchens: family recipes from Sicily and Rome" brilliantly capture the glorious simplicity of Italian cooking and have received widespread acclaim and multiple awards. Rachel also writes a weekly column for The Guardian and it’s a real source of excitement to have her cooking in the Wright’s kitchen.
Jessica Seaton co-founded Toast and is the author of the recently published “Gather, Cook, Feast” which celebrates the food we eat and the land in which we live in over 120 recipes and was described by The Guardian as “a celebration of the fruit of the land, both grown and foraged. For the dreamers and ramblers among us.”
Jessica lives in the Towy Valley with her husband and fellow Toast originator, Jamie.
Maryann Wright began her cooking career at her family’s Four Seasons restaurant in Nantgaredig. Along with Susan Manson she ran the kitchen at the award winning Y Polyn for seven years before establishing Wright’s Food Emporium in 2014 which she continues to run along with her family and team of staff.
